If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply curious about understanding yourself better, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Many people come to therapy to strengthen relationships, manage stress, or make meaningful changes in their lives. It’s a space to pause, reflect, and gain clarity with the guidance of someone who’s trained to listen and help.

The first session is mostly a conversation. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and see if the fit feels right. My goal is to create a calm, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable from the very start.

The length of therapy looks different for everyone. Some people find what they need in just a few sessions, while others continue longer for deeper work and ongoing growth. We’ll discuss your goals early on and check in regularly to make sure therapy is helping you move in the direction you want.

Yes, absolutely. What you share in therapy stays private. There are a few legal exceptions (such as concerns about your safety or someone else’s), but otherwise, your privacy is fully protected. I take confidentiality very seriously, it’s the foundation of a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. The best way to know is to schedule an initial session and notice how you feel and whether you feel understood, comfortable, and safe being yourself. I encourage open communication, and if I ever feel another therapist might be a better fit for your needs, I’ll help guide that transition as well.

Once you schedule, you’ll receive an intake form to complete before our first session. This form helps me learn a bit about you and what brings you to therapy, so we can make the most of our time together. You’ll also receive information about confidentiality, policies, and how to access our secure telehealth platform.

TSG Counseling and Wellness is an out-of-network provider, but many clients are able to get partial reimbursement from their insurance company. I can provide you with a monthly superbill, which you can submit directly to your insurance for possible reimbursement. If you’re unsure about your coverage, I’m happy to guide you through what questions to ask your insurance provider.
